汲室台灣原茶系列



When people think of tea in Taiwan, Alishan Oolong and Dongding Oolong often come to mind first. However, the world of tea is far more diverse and fascinating than it appears.

Internationally, tea is classified into six main categories: green tea, black tea, oolong tea, white tea, dark tea, and yellow tea.

Among these, the most commonly consumed and widely recognized are green tea, oolong tea, and black tea.

Green tea is the oldest type of tea and is non-fermented. After harvesting, the leaves are quickly heated to stop oxidation, preserving their natural flavor and nutrients. It has a fresh taste with a slight astringency followed by a pleasant sweetness. Rich in catechins, green tea offers antioxidant benefits, supports cardiovascular health, and helps regulate blood sugar and lipids—making it a popular choice for health-conscious consumers.

Oolong tea is partially fermented, sitting between green and black tea. It combines the floral freshness of green tea with the rich sweetness of black tea, resulting in a balanced and layered flavor profile that appeals to a wide audience.

Black tea is fully fermented (above 90%), known for its robust and smooth taste. It has long been in Western culture and was historically associated with aristocratic traditions.

Green Tea Series
Includes High Mountain Steamed Green Tea and Cui Zhu Green Tea, known for their natural aroma, freshness, and delicate sweetness.

Oolong Tea Series
Such as Baozhong Oolong Tea, Jin Xuan High Mountain Oolong Tea, Charcoal-Roasted Tieguanyin, Fruity Oolong, and the unique Honey Fragrant Red Oolong.

The story of Honey Fragrant Red Oolong is particularly fascinating. Tea leaves bitten by leafhoppers (small green insects) undergo a natural defense reaction, producing a distinctive honey-like and fruity aroma. What was once considered a pest problem turned into a prized flavor characteristic.

Blue Tea (Oolong) Series
Include Jin Xuan Oolong Tea, Four Seasons Spring Tea, and Oriental Beauty Tea. Four Seasons Spring Tea, in particular, is widely used in bubble tea due to its smooth, refreshing taste and minimal bitterness. It can be harvested year-round, which gives it its name.

Black Tea Series
Includes Taiwan Ruby Black Tea (TTES No.18) and High Mountain Jin Xuan Black Tea.

Ruby Black Tea is one of Taiwan’s signature teas, developed from native wild tea plants and Burmese large-leaf varieties. It features a unique combination of minty and fruity notes, often referred to as the “Taiwan aroma.” It is excellent both as a pure tea and as a base for milk tea.


在台灣,一提到茶,許多人首先想到的往往是阿里山烏龍茶或鹿谷凍頂烏龍。然而,茶的世界其實遠比想像中更豐富多元。依照國際分類,茶主要可分為六大類:綠茶、紅茶、烏龍茶(青茶)、白茶、黑茶與黃茶。

其中最常見、也最容易入門的,是綠茶、紅茶與烏龍茶三大類。

綠茶

歷史最悠久的茶類,屬於「不發酵茶」,採摘後立即經高溫殺菁,完整保留茶葉最原始的風味與營養。口感清新,略帶微澀但回甘明顯,同時富含兒茶素,具有抗氧化、調節血脂與保護心血管等功效,是講究養生者的首選。

烏龍茶(青茶)

介於綠茶與紅茶之間,屬於部分發酵茶。它兼具綠茶的清香與紅茶的甘甜,風味層次豐富、接受度高,是許多人的日常首選茶類。

紅茶

紅茶屬於高度發酵茶(約90%以上),風味醇厚甘甜,在西方文化中歷史悠久,曾是貴族社交的重要飲品。

綠茶系列
包含高山蒸青綠茶與翠珠綠茶,保留茶葉最自然的香氣與營養,口感清爽、回甘細緻。

烏龍茶系列
如包種烏龍茶、金萱高山烏龍茶、炭焙鐵觀音、果香烏龍茶,以及極具特色的蜜香紅烏龍。

其中「蜜香紅烏龍」的誕生相當特別。茶園曾受到「小綠葉蟬」叮咬,原本造成產量下降,卻意外激發茶葉的天然防禦機制,進而產生獨特的蜂蜜與熟果香氣,化危機為風味上的驚喜。

青茶代表
金萱烏龍茶、四季春茶與東方美人茶等。其中四季春茶因一年四季皆可採收,且口感清爽不苦澀,成為手搖飲中常見的基底茶之一。

紅茶系列
台灣紅玉紅茶(台茶18號)與高山金萱紅茶。

紅玉紅茶是台灣極具代表性的茶種,由台灣原生山茶與緬甸大葉種培育而成,帶有獨特的薄荷與果香,被譽為「台灣香」。無論純飲或製作成奶茶,都表現出色。
